Ive worked throughout Southern Africa off and on for many years. Wonderfully written book from a perspective of an Afrikaner coming to grips with the tough facts of her people's history and their enforcement of a system of government - namely apartheid - and the negative repercussions of that system.

Elie Wiesel The pages are full of insight, and knowledge I believe all South Africans should be party to, as well as Krog's own story of self-discovery.
