The way of life at The Hermitage is unpretentious, simple and rustic. The caretaker at Yerranderie told us that the hike used to be quite popular in the 80s & 90s, but these days he only sees a handful of people doing it a year. The land begins to clear and you are eventually treated to spectacular views of the Wangaderry Tableland.
